- Nearly-Native : GeekTogether.gg is implemented as a PWA (Progressive Web App) allowing you to install it on your mobile device directly from the web site as an app without having to actually go through an app store.
- Easy Google integrated sign-up / sign-in, or sign-up with e-mail and password
- You want to play, not fill out forms. GeekTogether streamlines UI/UX to ensure intuitive and fast action flows with features like personal GeekTogether presets to quickly setup a new GeekTogether with all of your own preferred settings: location/venue, day of the week, times, tags, games, and more.
- We're thinking globally. Set your preference to have measurements and distances displayed as either imperial or metric units throughout the platform.

- BGG integrated game search has access to the entire BGG game library for adding games to play
- Suggested Games allow RSVPs to contribute and upvote games to play
- Make your GT open to the community to RSVP and meet new players, or invite-only to pull together a specific group of friends

Social Networking
- One-way friending system: Your Circle includes members you have added. Your Orbit shows members who have added you (allowing you to easily add them if you choose).
- Messaging only enabled when two-way relationship is established.
- Create and join regular gaming groups
- Reputation system and badges surface underlying historic behaviors (maybe due to canceling last minute too often or from being consistent and getting props from other members)
- Tag yourself quickly and easily in your profile with your gaming preferences to help like-minded gamers find you.
- Search for like-minded gamers by area, tags, GT handle, BGG handle, BGA handle, name, or e-mail address
- Privacy is priority. Full name, e-mail address, and other private data is never exposed. You can optionally share your first name and last initial.
